What is Department of Earth Sciences?
To elucidate the Earth's problems scientifically, we need to capture from Earth scientific point of view as a phenomenon of a variety of time and space scale the interaction of biological and fluid - solid Earth.
In the Department of Earth Sciences, such problems are always aware, learn the mechanism of internal structure and crustal movement of the Earth, while the aim of basic understanding of such co- evolution of Earth and biological, education in a variety of point of view and approach - focuses on that conduct research.

Super Science Course
The course fosters outstanding people who will provide future leadership at the three research centers (GRC, CMES, and PROS) at Ehime University and in related research areas, and who will play a role internationally. In addition to subjects offered only for this course, students can take specialist subjects provided by the faculties of Science, Technology and Agriculture.

Graduate School of Science and Engineering Earth's Evolution and Environment
The educational and research aim of this course is to understand our Earth with 4.6 billion-year history. Geological, petro-mineralogical and geophysical approaches are adopted to pursue this aim.
