研究内容
・地球深部物質の流動特性を通して固体地球の進化を探る
マントル遷移層、下部マントルといった地球深部での物質の流動特性(粘性率、変形微細組織)を高温高圧変形実験によって解明することを通じて、
マントルでの物質輸送が地球の進化に果たしている役割を探る
・地球深部物質の流動特性の物理化学的メカニズムを探る
さまざまな物理化学的条件のもとで変形実験・粒成長実験・化学反応実験を行なうことによって、
差応力、温度、圧力、含水量などが地球深部物質の流動特性に与える影響を理解する
略歴
